2016 is a big year for all of us at The LAB, and communication is a big part of our plans. Recently launched and finding our feet on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, a regular blog is one of the New Year resolutions we're determined to keep!
Our mission is to deliver world-class leadership development from a world-class location. We fell in love with Barcelona back in 2004 leading to the establishment of the company a few years later. The city has so much to offer, and aligns perfectly with our focus on health and design thinking.
The view of the city that we use on the front page of the website, as well as various social media channels, is an iconic image that captures the beauty of the city. It has a special place in our hearts for 2 reasons: it is a very similar view to the one we are lucky enough to enjoy from The LAB office terrace in Sarrià, and also one that our whole team frequently enjoys on our 'running meetings' along the fabulous Carretera de les Äigues, the mountain path overlooking the city which also serves as a basis for some of our specialised client meetings and 1-2-1 coaching.
On a final 'getting to know you' note, the letter 'A' in our company logo represents the Torre de Collserolla, the Norman Foster-designed telecommunications tower which overlooks the city and can be seen from countless locations in the urban centre. No matter how involved and stressed you are with the minutiae of daily life, we believe one look at the Torre can give perspective and relief.
