Chris mcginley phd, head of design:lab
Head of the Design Thinking unit at The LAB Dr. McGinley leads all design-related teaching and consultancy services as well as managing the extended network of design:LAB associates. Based in London, he is an award-winning researcher and designer and Research Fellow at the Royal College of Art, where he leads the Age & Diversity space at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design. He has worked with clients such as: GlaxoSmithKline, Osaka Gas, The Home Office and The Department of Health. With over a decade of experience in the field of inclusive design and social innovation, he delivers material in educational settings such as The Imperial College, London and Kyushu University, Japan; in addition to regularly delivering keynotes and executive education in industry and government settings.
